My brother, Bobby, was actually the one to teach me this recipe that he came up with and I absolutely love it! I drink these smoothies for breakfast a few times a week… they are so filling and so so healthy! We’ve been making them for a few years now and I never get tired of them because you can always tweak them to make them taste different.. but here are the basics!
-I use the frozen organic strawberries and blueberries from Costco because you can get huge bags for very cheap.
-Put the frozen strawberries and blueberries in the blender and add Nakéd Mango Juice, Orange Juice, and water. Fill until all the fruit is covered, should be half juices half water or it will be too thick. Let soak for a minute. Blend.
-Add a few spoonfuls of plain Greek Yogurt. Blend.
-Add 1 or 2 bananas, spinach, kiwi, and anything else you want to tweak it with! (kiwi optional)
-Blend & Stir throughout the process.
Serves about 3-4.
I find it easier to stir it in between the blending so it stays a nice consistency. If it feels too thick you can add a little more water. The frozen fruit also helps with the consistency once it is melted. This is perfect to make and take with you on-the-go for school or work. I do this almost everyday and I am full until lunch time. I am actually drinking one as we speak! haha The mango juice that we added in there is thick and keeps you full longer. Make sure you blend well because who likes smoothie chunks?! Not me! No beuno! 😜
